Most pieces are ready within 3-4 weeks. Timing depends on the size, shape, and thickness of the piece. We dry pottery slowly to reduce cracking and breakage and to ensure the best results.

Pottery can definitely feel hard at first—especially on the wheel! It’s one of those things that looks easy when you watch someone experienced, but there are a lot of small movements and techniques your hands have to learn.
The good news is: you don’t need any experience to start. Our beginner classes and walk in wheel experiences are designed for exactly that. We walk you through each step, and our instructors are there to help you along the way. Most people don’t make a “perfect” piece their first time—and that’s completely normal!
The goal of your first class is to have fun, get your hands in the clay, and learn the basics. With a little practice, it starts to click—and that’s when it gets really fun.
If you’re looking for a more relaxed, try-it-out experience, our walk-in sessions are great. And if you want to really build skills and confidence, our multi-week classes are the best way to go.
